Privacy Policy

We collect as little as we can. We do not run ads, we do not sell your data, and we do not use tracking pixels.
What we receive, and why
- When you buy: your email address and the order details (which posters, the amount, the currency). Razorpay or Stripe collects your payment details on its own secure page; we never see your card number. We use your email and order only to deliver your order and to help you if something goes wrong.
- When you use the "Request a map" form: your name, email and the details you type. We use them to reply to you and make your poster. The form is processed by Formspree.
- When you order a wedding map: your names, wedding dates, the events and places you give us, and your email. We use them only to make your map and send it to you. The form is processed by Formspree. The guest phone link shows the events and place names you gave to anyone who has the link, so share it only with your guests. We keep the details for at least 12 months after delivery (so the guest link keeps working) and delete them when you ask.
- Newsletter: if you subscribe, Substack handles your email address under its own privacy policy.
- Visitor counter: we count page visits as a single number. It does not record who you are.
What stays on your device
Your browser remembers your cart and your currency choice so they are still there when you come back. This is stored only on your own device, in your browser's storage, and is not sent to us until you pay. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you choose, you can clear this data in your browser settings.
Who else handles data for us
- Razorpay and Stripe: payments and payment receipts.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and runs our checkout and download functions.
- GitHub: stores our poster files in a private repository. It holds no customer information.
- Formspree: delivers messages from the request form to us.
- Substack: runs the newsletter sign-up.
- Google Fonts: the website's fonts load from Google, which sees your IP address when they load.
- Gumroad: if you buy from our Gumroad shop instead, Gumroad's own privacy policy applies to that purchase.
Links to Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and other sites take you to places with their own privacy policies.
How long we keep things
Order records are kept for as long as Razorpay, Stripe and our records need them for accounts, tax and support. Messages from the request form are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your request. You can ask us to delete your messages and, where the law allows, your order details.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop emailing you, by writing to keeromaps@gmail.com.
Children
This shop is for adults and families buying wall art. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and its date.
